Golden Monkey Hotel is a 3-star mid-range accommodation found in the center of Nyamagabe district, Gasaka sector, Gikongoro, south Province of Rwanda. The Hotel is situated 20km away from the National Museum of Rwanda and 24 km away from Nyungwe national park. One can be at the lodge by road transport from Kigali International Port which takes approximately a 5-6 hour drive to the Hotel and an hour flying with a domestic flight from Kigali to Katabi and then to the hotel. The hotel is convenient and in a perfect base for safari adventure and relaxation to travelers and tourists who want to explore Kivu and Nyungwe National Park and Volcanoes National Park.

Nyungwe National Park is the second most famous and most visited park found in the southwestern part of Rwanda bordering Burundi. The park covers a total area of 1020 square KM, it’s the home of chimpanzees and colobus monkeys with Its huge area of mountain rainforest. The best months to be in Nyungwe National Park are from June to September in along dry season and from December to mid-February.
