Kibale National Park
Kibale National park is located in western Uganda in Kabarole district and it is known for chimpanzee it was first gazetted in 1932 as a crown forest area by the British and could extract fire wood from the forest and it was called a forest reserve but later in 1993 it was upgraded into a park to protect the bio diversity of the forest and tracking of chimpanzee and it covers 774 square kilometres kibale national[park is one of the exciting parks we have in Uganda the park is a spectacular offering the good number of Ugandan chimpanzee taking safari activities to travelers.kibale national park is a home of over 200 chimpanzees recorded in the park and also on Uganda primate safaris to Kibale National Park one can encounter animals like elephants, forest hogs,warthogs,bushbucks there are also mongoose and many others

In kibale it is a home to approximately 250 colourful butterfly species which are seen in the park like ephedra aracaris, blue mother of pearl, brown pansy, common dotted boarder and many more

By Road
One can use the road from Kampala Mityana Mubende Fort Portal then Kanyachu which is the headquarters of Kibale National Park and it takes like 5 hours
By Air
One can take a domestic fligt from Entebbe International Airport to Kasese Airstrip or Fort Portal Airstrip, then later can transfer to the park using the road
