2 Days Bwindi Gorilla Safari from Kigali is one of the shortest safaris you will ever have in Rwanda and this tour will show you the beauty of the Gorillas.

Day 1:  City tour & Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest
On our day one of the 2 Days Bwindi Gorilla Safari from Kigali, you will be picked up from your place of residence in Kigali town and you will go for a tour of the remarkable Kigali city. On this Kigali City tour, you will visit Kimironko local market where you will interact with the locals and bargain on the local produce. You will also visit the genocide memorial site where you will learn more about the terrible 1994 genocide. After this, you will have lunch and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park through Katuna border and arrive in Bwindi. Bwindi is the home of Uganda gorillas where you will arrive in the evening. Later you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi & Back to Kigali

On your final day of the 2 Days Bwindi Gorilla Safari from Kigali, you will enjoy early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters. You will carry with you your packed lunch and bottled drinking water as you go for a briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00 am. After the briefing, start your gorilla trekking journey accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas. This trek takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas within the forest. After the trek, you will enjoy your lunch packs and transfer back to Kigali arriving in the evening. Drop off at the airport or your hotel in Kigali.
