Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
From Arusha, onboard your safari vehicle for a ride to Serengeti National Park with your expert driver-guide. Arrive to the park in the early afternoon and check in before your afternoon game drive.
Have lunch in the park, then continue on an evening game drive till sunset. During the game drive, you will explore the park’s many paths in search of species that nature will allow you to view that day. Serengeti national park is famed for its large numbers of wildlife animals including lions, herds of wildebeest, gazelles, leopard, zebras, and antelopes among others. Serengeti is one of Africa’s largest national parks spanning over a radius of approximately 15,000 square kilometers. Its large wildlife herds and vast, lush savannah plains make it the perfect destination for Tanzania wildlife safaris.
By nightfall, return to the lodge for supper and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full Day Game Viewing in Serengeti
On day two of your 3 days Serengeti Tanzania wildlife safari, breakfast will be served by your lodge. After breakfast, carry your lunch packs and head out for a full day of game viewing in the park where you stand a chance to witness the Great Migration depending on the season you chose to travel in. In addition to the enormous migrating herds we seek, we may spot cheetahs, lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest, hartebeest, topi, eland, crocodiles, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, and many more. With almost 500 bird species recognized, the park is a genuine ornithological paradise, with ostriches, secretary birds, marabou storks, and the world’s biggest flighted bird, the Kori bustard. We will hunt for these species using our “Wild Guide’s sharp intuition and expertise, and as the day draws to a close, we will make our way to our camp to unwind, dine, and relax by the fire beneath the boundless East African sky.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer Back to Arusha.
Enjoy your breakfast in the morning and head out for a game drive as you exist the national park. This morning game drive in Serengeti National Park offers you the best opportunity to view wildlife in the park as they leave their dens. Look out for lions, leopards, buffalo, rhinos, cheetah, elephants, wildebeests, zebras and giraffes among others.
After your game drive, exit the park and head back to Arusha with lunch en-route. Arrive in Arusha late in the afternoon and have your driver guide drop you off at a hotel or airport in case you have a flight out of Tanzania.
